Joan started college at age 37 due to an increasing desire to understand mental health issues. As a therapist she works from a strengths perspective in order to recognize, support and build upon the uniqueness of each individual. Joan is happy to be working in a place with friendly and caring people where the whole person (mind, body, soul) is supported in a client driven environment.
Billy grew up in Oakvale, West Virginia and then migrated out west to Montana, where he earned his BS degree in applied psychology and his master’s degree in counseling with a focus in marriage and family both from Montana State University. His entire career has been focused on working with underserved populations. Billy loves that patients at CHP have a voice about their own care and that providers work with clients to ensure the best possible care. In his spare time Billy enjoys playing music on his guitar. His passion for music is a large part of his self-care and wellness. Billy also enjoys playing sports and supporting his favorite athletic teams, such as the MSU Bobcats!
Kristin completed her pre-nursing education at the University of Montana, Missoula before relocating to Portland, Oregon to complete her Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees from Oregon Health & Science University. She was thrilled to return to Montana in 2014 to live in Sheridan, “Heart of the Ruby Valley,” where she gets to spend lots of quality time outdoors with her husband and dog. Having previously worked at a community health center in MT, providing care primary and mental health care to a diverse population, she is excited to continue on this path by joining CHP. Kristin strives to enhance individual and community health and well-being by building strong relationships and breaking down barriers.
Jane grew up in beautiful Bend, Oregon and then headed east to Ohio where she attended Kenyon College to earn her undergraduate degree. She then migrated south to Vanderbilt University in Nashville earning her master’s of science degree in nursing, where she specialized in being a family nurse practitioner.
She went on to earn her doctorate in nursing practice, with a focus on mental health in primary care at Vanderbilt as well. In her spare time, Jane enjoys getting outside with her husband and two dogs.
Myles St John, RN, FNP, is ecstatic to be joining the CHP team as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Myles grew up in Northern California, but has been all over the United States working in healthcare and is very happy to have landed in Bozeman after completing his Family Nurse Practitioner program at George Washington University. Myles has worked as an RN with CHP in the past and is fully committed the CHP’s mission of enhancing community health and well-being. When not in the clinic, Myles enjoys hiking, board games, and spending time on the river.
