Kat grew up on Long Island and, after graduating high school, headed west to explore and experience life "after New York". She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in California and Montana, respectively. She has taught various grade levels and subjects including GED and HiSET. Kat finds helping learners reach "their next step" very enjoyable and is excited to be part of the Learning Partners team. Hiking, backpacking, bird watching, rafting, spending time with friends, and gazing at Montana's beautiful mountain landscapes are her favorite activities.
