Montana COVID-19 Vaccine Update - Updated January 26, 2020

News & Press, COVID 19

The COVID-19 vaccines are now being distributed in our communities in Montana. We know that many of our patients are anxious to hear what this process will look like and when they will be eligible to receive the vaccine. Community Health Partners is committed to providing the most up-to-date information about vaccines to our communities.

The State of Montana is approaching vaccine distribution in phases, prioritizing those at the highest risk for COVID-19 infection in its initial phase. The COVID-19 vaccine doses are dependent on how many are allocated to the State of Montana. The State then provides a limited supply to each county. The following infographic shows who will be eligible to receive the vaccine in each phase.

Montana is now in Phase 1B; however, anyone from Phase 1A is still eligible to get the vaccine. Note that this plan and overall timeline may change as the situation evolves and is dependent upon available supply.

If you live in Gallatin County and click here to find out more about availability and criteria for vaccines.

The Park City-County Health Department is encouraging residents to sign up to receive updated local information about the COVID-19 vaccine here.

We will continue to update this page with new plan details from the State, as well as Gallatin and Park Counties.

Until the vaccine is widely available, continue to follow critical public health protocols to keep yourself and others safe, including:

  • Avoid crowds
  • Wear a mask in public
  • Maintain at least 6 feet distance from people
  • Wash your hands often
  • Stay home when you’re sick

From CHP, thank you for doing your part to keep your community safe!
