Born and raised in the Elkhorn Mountains, Josie is a Montana native of many generations. She completed her undergrad degree from Carroll College and her dental degree from the University of Iowa. Serendipity led her to begin practicing dentistry in Wisconsin where she met the love of her life, Dr. Nick Van Ess. Josie has practiced in private, corporate, and public health settings. It is the public health setting where she is happiest providing access, care, and education for people. She strives to compassionately provide the best treatment for each patient and hopes her personality puts you at ease. A mother of two young children, Josie can be found outside the clinic with her family- enjoying the outdoors.
