Linda is a licensed clinical social worker who is enthusiastic about collaborating with others in achieving their goals. Born and raised in Montana and in Livingston for 37 years, Linda has sought out working at CHP to be more involved in the community and to be part of the dedicated CHP team. Linda most recently has been a private contractor including therapy groups, self-care for the caregiver, bereavement counseling and crises work around the state. She worked for a decade with the Montana Veterans Administration (VA) as a behavioral health therapist and as the Central Montana VA Behavioral Health Supervisor. She has certifications in many therapies including Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) for trauma recovery and growth as well as in Integrated Behavior Couples Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy for depression and other Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies for emotion regulation and relationship skills. Most importantly is Linda’s empathy and desire to be a partner to those wanting to move forward in their lives.
